Location ➤ Poland

Customer

A leading provider of off-patent crop protection products and one of the largest crop protection companies in the world. They have over 5000 employees in their subsidiaries worldwide with sales of about 3 billion euros.

Challenges

The factory has already implemented assets with long-lifetime and high energy-demand. However, changeovers have to be realized with shorter cycle times. The IT landscape is standardized on ERP level throughout the corporate but on DCS level a full availability must be given during the full transformation.

Approach

First, the status Quo was evaluated, today's biggest operational challenges were identified, and the potentials were estimated. On the basis of that, a roadmap with detailed description for each project was defined and determined the starting point for the transformation.

Results

The result of this was a detailed roadmap and detailed project descriptions that included the precise procedures and the estimated impact. This gave Adama clearly defined starting activities to manage their Digital Transformation across all locations.
